- Usar para el afilado de herramientas con filo.
- Modo de uso: Una vez que hemos afilado la herramienta de corte en la muela de esmeril gruesa, o fina, hay que asentar el filo, es decir, eliminar los minúsculos arañazos que el esmeril deja en el filo con la piedra de sentar filos.
- El grano grueso, del lado oscuro 120, consigue un borde afilado. El grano fino, del lado clarito 240, es ideal para terminar y pulir el borde.
